Sonia M. Davis, MSN, NP-C

Sonia Davis, NP-C is a Nurse Practitioner who works closely with Dr. Bryan Kirby and Dr. Taylor Cates.

Sonia is a graduate of the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and received a Master of Science in Nursing from Mercer University. She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Sonia is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia.


Michael C. Gravett, PA-C

Chris Gravett worked both as a personal trainer and a pharmacy technician while completing his undergraduate work at Jacksonville State University and the College of William & Mary.

He attended Eastern Virginia Medical School and received his Master’s Degree of Physician’s Assistant with honors in 2004.

During his training as Physician Assistant he completed clinical rotations in both Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Spine Surgery.

Chris joined the Carrollton Orthopaedic Clinic in 2005 and assists Dr. Prybis in the clinic and in surgery for the complete care, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.


Matt Henderson, MSN, NP-C

Matt Henderson, MSN, NP-C is a Nurse Practitioner who joined the Carrollton Orthopaedic Clinic in 2019.

Prior to joining Carrollton Orthopaedic, he worked in the Emergency Department at Tanner Medical Center. Matt obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from LaGrange College and a Master of Science in Nursing from Graceland University. He is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Matt is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia.

Britni Lockwood, PA-C

Physician Assistant in Orthopaedics

After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with the honor of magna cum laude from Samford University, Britni graduated from the Saint Louis University Physician Assistant Program with honors.

Britni joined the Carrollton Orthopaedic Clinic in 2014 and assists physicians in the clinic and in surgery for the complete diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients.


Andrea Maxwell, MSN, NP

Andrea Maxwell, MSN, NP is a Nurse Practitioner who works closely with Dr. Prybis.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of West Georgia, Andrea received a Master of Science in Nursing from Graceland University. She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Andrea is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia.

As a Nurse Practitioner Andrea plays an active role in the care of patients with spinal problems, including examination, assessment, diagnosis and treatment. She works alongside Dr. Prybis, an orthopaedic spine surgeon, as well as collaborates with other disciplines specializing in spine care including physiatrists, pain specialists, physical therapists, etc.


Alisha Schuchman, MSN, NP-C

Alisha Schuchman, MSN, NP-C is a Nurse Practitioner who works closely with Dr. Lin on the spine team.

Alisha obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Central Florida in 2000. After 10 years of nursing in a surgical specialty, Alisha received a Master of Science in Nursing from Graceland University. She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Alisha is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia.

As a Nurse Practitioner Alisha plays an active role in the care of patients with spinal problems. She works alongside Dr. Lin, an orthopaedic spine surgeon, as well as collaborates with the entire spine team including disciplines specializing in spine care. She participates in all aspects of care including examination, assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Alisha assists Dr. Lin in the clinic and in the operating room.


David A. Scruggs, PA-C

David Scruggs began his medical career in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman from 1985 through 1991.

He completed his undergraduate work at the University of West Georgia prior to his acceptance to the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga.

David completed the Physician Assistant Program in Allied Health with honor of magna cum laude in 1995.

David joined the Carrollton Orthopaedic Clinic in 1995 and assists the physicians in clinical care, diagnosis, and the treatment of patients.
